Confidence Comes from Within

Are you a legend in your own mind? ⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On this journey of life (and certainly any health journey!), there is one person you can always count on to be there for you: YOURSELF! While there’s no denying that having a strong support system of friends and family can be incredibly helpful for behavior change, it is we who are the final arbiters of our choices and progress.

The best place to start? Mindet! Every day we get to make the choice that we believe in ourselves.

So here's what I want you to do:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
— Strut your stuff! Walk down that sidewalk like you own the place!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
— Throw in some headphones, play your favorite tune, and imagine that's you rocking out in your favorite music video⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
— Envision yourself doing that workout like you're a pro athlete.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
— Imagine you're cooking that meal like a Food Network fave.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Do something goofy and silly that makes you feel brave, confident & deserving of all the goals you have.

In short, be your OWN best cheerleader. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Even if that confidence isn't 100% there yet, I've found the best way to manifest it is to get the habit down. Go through the motions & tell it to yourself over and over again; eventually, it becomes the real deal!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

P.S. This isn't a message to be a jerk w/ no humility :p.

Just to love on yourself the way you wish any other adoring fan would. Have some fun with it! The journey of working toward your goals doesn’t need to be a drag :).⠀⠀
